Hi, I’m Michelle.

Mother, artist, author, and certified Mindful Art Teacher (MAT) living in Potomac, Maryland.

I created You’re Good because I believe you’re good.

My workshops combine mindfulness, art, and community to create a safe space for light-hearted self discovery.

Creative expression is a powerful tool for connection to not only the world around us, but to ourselves.

So many of us dismiss our desire to create because we are afraid of failure, of wasting time, of judgement from others or not being “good enough”. As an artist myself with a frustratingly loud inner critic, I know that fear well!

My creative journey has been deeply intertwined with my healing and self-discovery journey, overlapping until they became one in the same. Incorporating mindfulness into my art practice has allowed me to slow down, reconnect with myself, and begin healing the negative self-talk that had shaped so much of my inner world and stifled my creative expression. This has path has led me to become a certified Mindful Art Teacher (MAT), so I can help guide others to use their own creative voice.
